Ubtech Robotics has commenced operations at a new humanoid robot factory located in Liuzhou, China. This facility is designed to produce up to 10,000 units annually and can manufacture one industrial humanoid robot every 10 minutes, focusing on the Walker S and Cruzr series.
The significance of this factory lies in its innovative use of robotics in the manufacturing process itself. The 14,000-square-meter plant incorporates Cruzr robots and autonomous logistics equipment, enhancing efficiency and productivity while also featuring a 65-square-meter automated warehouse that increases space utilization by over 50%.
Looking ahead, the integration of Siemens Digital Industries Software for production management indicates a trend towards more automated and efficient manufacturing processes in the robotics sector. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
