Osan, Korea robot maker founded 2004 (KOSDAQ: 117730) building vacuum transfer robots for display fabs, AMRs and TR-WORKS humanoids; ~600 AMRs for BlueOval SK.
T-Robotics is a South Korean robot manufacturer headquartered in Osan, Gyeonggi Province, founded in 2004 and listed on KOSDAQ under code 117730. It began as a specialist in vacuum transfer robots, the substrate-handling arms that move glass and wafers inside the vacuum chambers of display and semiconductor production equipment, and describes itself as the only Korean company specialising in this product. It first developed vacuum robots for 8th-generation display lines in 2008 and supplies robots and transfer systems to global equipment makers.
The vacuum robot range comes in four mechanical types. The hybrid type combines linear and link mechanisms for 6th-generation OLED production; the scissors type uses a seesaw structure that keeps floor height low for 10th-generation-plus OLED and LCD fabs; the link type targets 6th-generation OLED with a minimal rotation radius; and the linear type carries heavy glass for 8th-generation-plus lines. Published figures across the range include payloads of 200 kg, transfer cycles of about 20 seconds, operating temperatures of 500 degrees C, Class 1 particle levels and repeatability between plus or minus 0.1 mm and 0.5 mm.
Since 2023 the company has treated autonomous mobile robots as its next core business. Its AMR line covers lowbed lift, roll lift, forklift, vacuum fork and pallet conveyor models with payloads from 400 kg to 3,000 kg at up to 1.0 m/s, plus the T-BOT1 series: the T-BOT1 SL lifting AMR rated at 1,000 kg, and the T-BOT1 R and RC, which carry a Universal Robots UR5 arm, the RC adding a conveyor. Asia Economy reported in February 2026 that T-Robotics was supplying about 600 AMRs to BlueOval SK's US battery plant, with 300 installed at the time. The subsidiary Motion Device sells MDA-500/1000 goods-to-person AMRs and was reported to be acquiring about 90 percent of AI Robotics, a stocker and smart-factory automation firm.
The newest line is TR-WORKS, a humanoid robot aimed at logistics inside semiconductor and display plants. In September 2026 T-Robotics was selected to lead a KRW 4.5 billion project under KEIT's humanoid robot AI transformation programme, working with KAIST and a major Korean display manufacturer to trial humanoids in display production. The company also markets Healbot-T and Healbot-G gait rehabilitation exoskeletons developed with KIST and Asan Medical Center, the Myosuit wearable, and food-service robots for hand-drip coffee, cocktails and cake decoration shown at its BOTBOTBOT cafe. It holds patents in Korea, the United States, Japan, China and Taiwan, runs a second plant in Osan and an R&D centre in Seongnam, and has entities in Shenzhen and Fremont, California.
