Shenzhen-based robotics company Dobot has formed a strategic partnership with Tencent Cloud, announced today, to enhance the integration of cloud computing infrastructure and improve collaboration between edge devices and the cloud. This collaboration aims to leverage Tencent's cloud capabilities to optimize Dobot's robotics solutions.

Dobot has established itself in the global market, having shipped over 80,000 collaborative robots to notable clients such as BYD, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Xiaomi, and Microsoft. The company recently unveiled Atom, the world's first full-sized humanoid robot designed for dexterous manipulation, in March. This partnership with Tencent Cloud is expected to further advance Dobot's technological innovations and expand its reach in the robotics sector.
