The focus has shifted from peak performance to optimizing tokens per megawatt, with NVIDIA DSX MaxLPS achieving up to 1.4 times more tokens through factory-wide power optimization. This approach aims to enhance efficiency and maximize value from energy consumption.
Emerald AI, a partner of NVIDIA, is set to implement NVIDIA DSX Flex for its grid-responsive power management software. This system will autonomously adjust energy consumption based on real-time grid signals, allowing AI factories to optimize their energy use while maintaining workload performance.
