Hai Robotics has successfully implemented a large-scale deployment of its HaiPick System 3 at LPP Logistics’ new ecommerce fulfillment center near Bucharest, Romania. This project integrates 278 HaiPick Automated Case-handling Robots (ACRs) and 670 Fast-transit Companion AMRs, enhancing storage capacity for over 625,000 locations and accommodating up to 7.5 million garments and accessories.
The deployment, finalized in under six months, significantly boosts LPP Logistics' fulfillment capabilities, catering to the increasing demand for ecommerce in Southeastern Europe. As a key player in the logistics operations of the LPP Group, which includes major fashion brands, this initiative exemplifies how advanced warehouse automation can facilitate rapid growth in omnichannel retail.
Looking ahead, the fulfillment center is designed to process more than 80,000 orders daily, with automated sortation handling up to 14,000 parcels per hour. This positions LPP Logistics to enhance service speed and operational efficiency across Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, and Hungary. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
