Komax manufactures series machines and customized systems for all levels of automation in wire processing. Its core product categories include wire cutting and stripping machines, crimping and termination systems, harness taping and tubing solutions, testing and quality assurance tools, and intelligent software and networking solutions (Smart Factory by Komax). The company's precision and innovation in semi-automatic and fully automatic wire processing have set global industry standards.
In 2022, Komax completed the integration of Schleuniger AG, significantly expanding its product scope and global service footprint. The Komax Group now operates a multi-brand strategy comprising Komax (core wire processing), Schleuniger (additional wire processing), adaptronic (harness processing), Cirris (cable testing), DiIT (manufacturing execution systems for wire harness), Hosver (harness taping), WUSTEC (wire harness production), and Lintech (distribution for France and North Africa, added 2023).
Vertical markets served include automotive (high-voltage EV wiring), aerospace, railway, data wire, and cabinet building. The group reported annual sales of approximately CHF 630 million in 2024 (order intake CHF 577.2 million). Customers are supported through sales and service subsidiaries in more than 60 countries and via the e-commerce platform Komax Direct. CARE Service Agreements provide preventive maintenance, calibration, and warranty extension packages. The company complies with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards as part of its Integrated Management System.
