Weighing approximately 12 pounds, this innovative guide robot enabled Zhu to navigate the stage independently, showcasing its potential for assisting visually impaired individuals.
The significance of AI LOOK lies in its advanced sensor fusion technology, which allows for real-time navigation without relying on pre-built maps. Unlike traditional SLAM-based robots, AI LOOK focuses on immediate obstacle detection and navigation, making it particularly suitable for dynamic environments that visually impaired individuals often encounter, such as busy streets and shopping malls.
