Noetix Robotics, a Chinese startup specializing in humanoid robots, has announced its strategy for pricing its new consumer robot, Bumi, competitively at RMB 9,998 (approximately US$1,380), which is comparable to the cost of Apple's iPhone 17. This pricing strategy follows a successful Pre-B funding round in which the company secured nearly RMB 300 million (US$41 million), primarily led by Vertex Ventures. The funding will support Noetix Robotics in enhancing its product offerings and expanding its market presence. The launch of Bumi aims to make advanced robotic technology more accessible to consumers, reflecting the company's commitment to innovation in the robotics sector.
