The group began with linear actuators, then added rotary actuators and dexterous-hand motors, integrating electric motors, reduction mechanisms, sensors, encoders, drivers and controllers. To scale this business, Tuopu signed a robotic electric-drive system R&D and production base project in the Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone with a planned investment of about 5 billion yuan; two actuator production lines were put into operation in January 2024, targeting the humanoid-robot market.
