The company created The Digital Forge — an industrial platform of 3D printers, software, and materials enabling manufacturers to print strong parts at the point of need. Markforged pioneered continuous carbon fiber reinforcement in desktop 3D printing.
Its FX10 printer produces both composite and metal parts on a single platform. NASA, Google, Ford, Amazon, and Siemens are among thousands of customers across 50 countries. Acquired by Nano Dimension in April 2025, Markforged was subsequently sold to Stratasys in May 2026 for approximately $42.5 million.
