AIR6 designs and builds an open-platform UAV range able to mount any sensor or payload, including RGB, thermal, multispectral and LiDAR systems, with multiple sensors deployable on a single flight.
Its systems emphasize redundancy through two independent electronic circuits for enhanced fail-safety (supporting Operating Safety Cases), strong payload and flight-time performance, water resistance and customization to client specifications. The product line includes the AIR8 octocopter, the company's flagship for medium-payload, medium-range missions with market-leading flight time, payload capacity, redundancy and IP54 dust/splash resistance, suited to LiDAR and laser-scanning surveys; the AIR4 Rugged, a compact system with greater than 3.5 kg payload built for extreme wind and weather; and the AIR4 NANO, an ultra-light sub-250 g drone for surveillance and tactical reconnaissance. The drones use efficient battery technology with up to roughly 1,000 charge cycles. AIR6 serves sectors including agriculture and forestry, surveying, mapping and mining, building and infrastructure inspection, power-asset and critical-infrastructure documentation, surveillance and search and rescue, film and photography, and research. The company provides turnkey UAV solutions spanning hardware, integrated and customized sensors, flight-planning and post-processing software, plus support and training, and has developed the AirborneSIM drone simulation platform for BVLOS autonomy and conducts R&D in UAV satcom.
