Stanley Robotics Introduces Innovative Robot Valet Parking at London Gatwick Airport

This summer, passengers at London Gatwick Airport can utilize a groundbreaking robotic parking service, marking the first implementation of its kind at a UK airport. Developed in collaboration with Stanley Robotics, this system allows travelers to simply drive into a designated drop-off cabin, exit their vehicle, and let advanced robots manage the parking process without needing to hand over their keys.

The introduction of this service is significant as it aims to alleviate parking-related stress for travelers, enhancing their overall airport experience. Located in the South Terminal, the system is designed to streamline the transition from car to check-in, allowing passengers to either walk to the terminal or take a free shuttle bus. This innovation is part of Gatwick's ongoing efforts to improve travel convenience and efficiency.

Looking ahead, the robotic parking service is set to launch for passengers in August, with sales beginning in the coming weeks.
