SkyeBrowse has launched new AI tools designed for roof inspections, damage assessment, and drone mapping. These updates feature AI-assisted roof damage analysis, enhanced map exports, and improved survey correction tools, allowing inspectors to evaluate storm damage without needing to climb onto roofs.
The Texas-based company's videogrammetry platform transforms video footage into 3D models and 2D maps, benefiting public safety agencies, construction teams, and commercial drone operators. The Roof Damage Analysis tool enables users to measure roofs and identify potential damage from a single drone flight, streamlining the inspection process and reducing the need for ladders.
SkyeBrowse's AI damage scan processes up to 16 video frames and eight photographs in about 20 seconds, marking findings as “Likely” or “Possible.” Inspectors must validate these findings before they are included in reports. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
