Shengshi Weisheng has successfully completed three rounds of financing within a year, with the latest being a multi-hundred million RMB Series B round led by several investors including Shanghai Semiconductor Industry Investment and others. Prior to this, the company secured over 100 million RMB in Series A financing in the first half of 2025 and several tens of millions in an A+ round backed by South Korea's Hyundai.
This rapid fundraising highlights the increasing certainty in the market for industrial welding solutions, which is often overlooked compared to more popular sectors like embodied intelligence. Shengshi Weisheng's focus on the welding industry, which is facing a significant shortage of skilled workers due to an aging workforce, positions it to meet a rigid demand for robotic solutions in this critical manufacturing segment.
Looking ahead, Shengshi Weisheng aims to leverage its unique technology to replace human welders in non-standard, small-batch, and diverse welding scenarios. The company has established a significant technological barrier through its data-driven approach and has already begun deploying its second-generation intelligent welding products in challenging environments, such as the construction of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway.
