Hana Financial Group has inaugurated a digital vocational training classroom for students with developmental disabilities in southern Seoul. This innovative facility, located at Miral School in Gangnam-gu, utilizes robotics and virtual reality to provide hands-on experiences in simulated workplace environments, allowing students to practice essential skills such as taking orders and processing payments.
The significance of this initiative lies in its potential to empower students with developmental disabilities by equipping them with practical skills and fostering confidence. The classroom features advanced technology, including a voice-enabled humanoid robot and virtual reality devices, aimed at enhancing communication and problem-solving abilities through realistic job scenarios.
Hana Financial Group plans to extend this program to two additional special education schools in Incheon and Daejeon by the first half of 2027. This expansion will further support students with career counseling and stress management training, alongside professional development for educators to mitigate burnout, as emphasized by Chairman Ham Young-joo during the opening ceremony.
