DJI Enhances Osmo Pocket 4 with New HDR and Slow Motion Features

DJI has released a firmware update for the Osmo Pocket 4, introducing a dedicated HDR 10-bit color mode, HDR Enhancement for photos, and D-Log 10-bit recording in slow motion. These enhancements allow users to maximize the camera's capabilities without new hardware.

The update is significant as it enables creators to capture high-dynamic-range video and photos, particularly in challenging lighting conditions. The new features leverage the existing 1-inch stacked CMOS sensor, which supports up to 14 stops of dynamic range, enhancing the overall shooting experience.

Looking ahead, users can expect improved flexibility in slow-motion video production with the addition of D-Log 10-bit recording. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
