D-Robotics Secures $400 Million in Series C Funding for Sunrise Chip and Software Platform

D-Robotics, a Chinese robotics technology firm, has successfully raised $400 million in a Series C funding round. This financing will bolster the company's Sunrise chip portfolio and its comprehensive software platform aimed at enhancing robot development.

The significance of this funding lies in D-Robotics' impressive revenue growth, which has reportedly multiplied several times year over year in the first half of 2026. Additionally, the company has achieved cumulative shipments of over 8 million units of its Sunrise chips, indicating strong market demand and adoption.

Looking ahead, D-Robotics has entered mass production with its embodied AI business, and its Sunrise S600 chip has already been adopted by more than 20 customers within just six months of its launch. The new software platform is set to facilitate various stages of robot development, including data collection and deployment. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
