Blue Logic and Hydromea Announce Groundbreaking Partnership to Accelerate Subsea WLAN Deployments

Hydromea, a frontrunner in high-speed wireless subsea optical communication, has joined forces with Blue Logic, an innovator in underwater inductive power and data transfer, to transform wireless communications in underwater environments. Announced today, this strategic partnership aims to facilitate the remote piloting of underwater drones without the need for tethering. By combining Blue Logic’s cutting-edge inductive technology with Hydromea’s free-space optical (FSO) solutions, the collaboration promises to deliver enhanced speed, reliability, and flexibility for subsea wireless local area network (WLAN) deployments. This advancement is expected to significantly improve critical data offloading and the wireless control of Unmanned Intervention Drones (UIDs), marking a significant step forward in underwater technology.
