Gento Robotics is the humanoid robot brand of Guangdong TianJi Intelligence System Co., Ltd. (广东天机智能系统有限公司), founded in 2015. Its own site states 'Gento Robotics, a Tianji Intelligence company', its About page is written about TianJi, and its Contact page names TianJi Intelligence System Co., Ltd. as the entity, with a head office at 78 Xiangshan Avenue, Bao'an District, Shenzhen and further offices in Shanghai, Kunshan (Jiangsu) and Yibin (Sichuan). Chinese financial media describe TianJi as a Dongguan, Guangdong company.
TianJi develops core components and systems for embodied AI: motion control systems, MEMS joint torque sensors and integrated joint modules, all in-house. It states absolute joint force-control accuracy of 0.3 N·m or better, translational stiffness of 15,000 N/m, repeatability of ±0.03 mm, and a self-developed joint torque sensor resolving forces as small as 0.02 N·m. Company figures cite 136 granted patents, 52 software copyrights, 60 R&D staff, 16,500 m² of floor space, more than 1,000 customers and over 30,000 units shipped across industrial and collaborative robots.
Product lines are the Marvin series full-body force-controlled humanoid dual arms (including M6S Lite and M20S), the Gento series wheeled humanoid robots, the FUSION X data-collection platform and the Kernal M (KernalMind) model platform. Gento Luna has 26 degrees of freedom, stands 1.7 m, folds to 0.79 m, uses a four-wheel-drive four-wheel-steer omnidirectional base with whole-body force control and roughly 6 kg single-arm payload. Gento Skye, with 23 degrees of freedom and a 785-1,695 mm lift range for continuous data collection, is listed as coming soon.
TianJi announced RMB 1 billion in Series B and B+ funding in May 2026 at a valuation near RMB 10 billion, co-led by GL Ventures and Meituan, followed by a B++ round co-led by Ant Group and Sofina with Gaorong Ventures and Tencent participating.
