US construction robotics startup offering a BIM-driven AI platform that coordinates multi-robot teams for masonry and blockwork under a RaaS model.
Buildroid is a San Francisco-based construction robotics company founded in 2025 by Slava Solonitsyn, co-founder of 3D-printed housing startup Mighty Buildings, and Anton Glance. The company developed a simulation-first AI platform that integrates Building Information Model (BIM) data with NVIDIA Omniverse-based digital twin environments to plan and optimize multi-robot workflows before physical deployment. Its flagship product is a block-laying robot (BLR) paired with supporting mobile robots (AMRs) designed to automate up to 80% of masonry work.
The hardware-agnostic platform is compatible with more than 40 robot types and deploys robotic teams under a shared-savings RaaS model, targeting the $13 billion US blockwork segment. Buildroid raised $2 million in pre-seed funding led by Tim Draper and conducted initial pilots with ALEC Engineering in the UAE before expanding to the US market in 2026.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
