Still Installs Automated High-Rack Storage System for 36,000 Pallets in Bramsche-Engter

Still has been commissioned by logistics provider Koch International to install a high-rack system for 36,000 pallets, along with forklifts, in a warehouse located in Bramsche-Engter. Currently, five automated EXV-iGo high-lift trucks transport fast-moving items from the goods receiving area to a separate high-rack storage facility. Three automated MX-X-iGo narrow-aisle stackers then handle the pallets. This installation is significant as it allows Koch International to respond quickly and flexibly to order peaks or changing market conditions without the constraints of fixed conveyor technology, which occupies valuable space. The use of both manual and automated forklifts enhances operational efficiency and adaptability in the logistics process. Looking ahead, the focus will be on how the integration of these automated systems will impact overall warehouse productivity and the ability to scale operations in response to demand fluctuations. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
