GE Aerospace has announced that it will provide 12 LM2500+G4 marine gas turbine engines for six KDDX-class destroyers being constructed for the Republic of Korea Navy (RoKN). The integration of the LM2500+G4 with the KDDX's full electric propulsion system is expected to enhance operational flexibility, fuel efficiency, and survivability for the vessels.
