Unitree, a Chinese robotics manufacturer, announced a third-quarter revenue of RMB 665 million, reflecting a 69.93% increase compared to the previous year. This marks the company's first quarterly earnings report following its IPO on Shanghai's STAR Market in August. The net profit attributable to shareholders for the quarter reached RMB 113 million.
The significant revenue growth is attributed to Unitree's strategic expansion beyond traditional robot hardware into embodied AI models and applications. For the first nine months of the year, the company's revenue rose 55.71% to RMB 1.817 billion, with a notable increase in attributable net profit of 270.54% to RMB 387 million. However, when excluding nonrecurring items, the nine-month net profit showed a decline of 18.78% to RMB 349 million.
Unitree's research and development expenditures reached RMB 263 million in the first nine months, representing a 191.48% increase and accounting for 14.47% of its revenue. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
