On August 11, GAC Group's humanoid robotics company, Guangdong Huilun Technology, announced it has secured over 100 million yuan in funding. This round of investment was led by CRRC Guochuang Fund, CMB International, and Sichuan Kechuang, with the capital aimed at optimizing vertical models, expanding production line scenarios, iterating core hardware, and building a high-end talent team.
Founded in February 2026, Huilun Technology represents a significant step for GAC Group in extending automotive intelligence capabilities into the robotics sector. The company has launched four embodied robot products, including its flagship fourth-generation wheeled humanoid robot, GoMate Mini, which features a variable wheel-foot three-mode switching structure, over 8 hours of battery life, and the ability to autonomously reset after a fall. It is capable of performing sorting, handling, and assembly tasks on automotive production lines, as well as covering scenarios like reception and item delivery.
As of July 31, 2026, GoMate Mini has been deployed in seven representative projects with nearly 50 units in operation. The longest project has run continuously for 12 months, covering approximately 63,000 kilometers and handling around 189,000 on-site anomalies, resulting in nearly 10 million yuan in commercial orders. No further timeline was disclosed at the time of publication.
