The HC Series collaborative robot line is certified for human-collaborative operation and targets welding, palletizing, and assembly tasks where fenceless deployment is required. In 2025, Yaskawa introduced the Motoman NEXT platform under its Physical AI initiative, including the NEX robot series and YNX1000 controller, which support sim-to-real transfer and AI-driven task learning. The YNX Robot Simulator software enables offline programming and virtual commissioning before physical installation.
As of published figures, more than 600,000 Motoman industrial robots have been installed globally, alongside 25 million servo units and 35 million inverter drives by the parent company, Yaskawa Electric Corporation. The parent company has had offices in 30 countries and approximately 15,000 employees worldwide.
