Company Overview

BeingBeyond Co., Ltd. (brand) is a Beijing-based embodied-AI company founded in 2025 that develops general-purpose foundation models for humanoid robots. Its central thesis is that large-scale human data, abundant, low-cost, and drawn from the real physical world, is the most effective basis for training cross-embodiment robot intelligence. The company was founded by Lu Zongqing, a tenured associate professor at Peking University's School of Computer Science and former head of the Multimodal Interaction Research Center at the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI); many core team members come from BAAI with backgrounds in reinforcement learning, computer vision, robot control, and multimodal AI. In June 2025 BeingBeyond announced a tens-of-millions-RMB seed round led by Legend Star, with participation from Z Fund (Zhipu AI), Yanyuan Venture Capital, and Bin Fu Capital.

Its technology is organized as four model series: Being-VL, a multimodal vision-language foundation model unifying 3D spatial understanding and language intent; Being-H, a hand-motion generation model pretrained on human manipulation video; Being-M, a whole-body motion generation model bridging robot brain and body; and Being-W, a low-level whole-body control model trained with reinforcement learning. On the product side it offers Being-Dex, a general dexterous-manipulation solution; Being-Actor, a whole-body teleoperation system; D1, the world's first desktop dexterous-hand robotic arm with 19 degrees of freedom; and U1, a palm-based teleoperation glove for dexterous-hand data collection. In April 2026 the company released Being-H0.7, a general embodied world model. BeingBeyond maintains active open-source presences on GitHub and Hugging Face.

BeingBeyond Unveils Being-M0.7: A Revolutionary Humanoid Robot for Mobility and Dexterity

On July 15, BeingBeyond officially launched the Being-M0.7, the world's first full-body mobile operation implicit world action model (Latent WAM). This model enables robots not only to 'see' the world but also to 'understand' how it operates, facilitating full-body movements and dexterous actions. It connects visual perception with physical interaction, allowing robots to exhibit human-like coordination. The significance of Being-M0.7 lies in its ability to learn from over 10,000 hours of human first-person video pre-training, enabling it to predict physical changes based on implicit visual and motion information. Before executing commands, the model learns three core capabilities: visual context understanding, future state prediction, and implicit representation of humanoid kinematics. This foundational understanding precedes its ability to control movements. Looking ahead, BeingBeyond's advancements in implicit world action models are noteworthy. The Being-M0.7 expands the capabilities of previous models, transitioning from desktop dexterous tasks to full-body mobile operations. Future demonstrations will likely showcase the robot's understanding of physical interactions and its ability to perform complex tasks autonomously, marking a significant step in humanoid robotics development.
