Ukraine's Vluchnyk has successfully completed internal testing of the Zorelit v5, a high-speed interceptor drone aimed at neutralizing aerial threats, including jet-powered UAVs. With a maximum speed of 416 km/h (258 mph) and a range of 47 kilometers (29 miles), the Zorelit v5 is now ready for delivery to military units, available through direct contracts.
This development is significant as the Zorelit v5 is designed to counter various reconnaissance UAVs and Russian drones, including the Gerbera and Geran series. Its capabilities, including a maximum engagement speed against targets traveling at 300-350 km/h, enhance Ukraine's defense against aerial threats, particularly in the ongoing conflict.
Looking ahead, the Zorelit v5 will be integrated into Ukraine's e-procurement system following the completion of its codification process. The interceptor's advanced features, such as AI-assisted target detection and automated flight path calculations, position it as a critical asset in modern aerial warfare.
