From a childhood encounter with a cat that ignites a fascination with light, to a near-drowning incident in a river, each experience serves as a catalyst for growth and resilience.
As the individual navigates life, they confront various trials, including a harrowing night trapped in a mountain chapel and a prolonged battle with cholera, spurred on by their father's encouragement to survive. The narrative continues with a devastating fire that consumes their work on Fifth Avenue, prompting a determination to rebuild and innovate.
A sudden accident involving a taxi brings about another brush with death, yet it is the quiet moment of connection with a dove that signifies a profound turning point.
