A team of 15 students from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) has achieved a significant milestone by winning the 2025 Embedded Capture the Flag (eCTF) security competition, marking the university's fourth consecutive victory in this prestigious event. Organized by MITRE, the eCTF is a rigorous two-phase competition that challenges participants to both design and submit a secure system and subsequently analyze and exploit the vulnerabilities of other teams' designs. This latest triumph underscores CMU's continued excellence in cybersecurity education and innovation, reflecting the hard work and dedication of its students in a field that is increasingly vital in today’s digital landscape.
