"Transmitting power and transmitting value"
Chongqing gear and transmission maker (SZSE: 002765) that mass-produces planetary robot joint actuators and gear sets, shipping about RMB 40M of joints in 2025.
Landai Technology Group is a Chinese manufacturer of automotive power transmission parts and touch display products, headquartered in Bishan District, Chongqing. It was founded in May 1996 as Chongqing Landai Industrial Co., Ltd. and has been listed on the Main Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since June 2015 under code 002765. Its slogan is Transmitting Power and Transmitting Value.
The power transmission business makes gears and shafts, manual, automatic and new-energy transmission assemblies, balance shafts, transmission housings and cylinder blocks, and high-pressure aluminium die castings for both new energy and combustion-engine vehicles. Operating subsidiaries include Chongqing Landai Transmission Machinery (precision transmission parts and gears), Chongqing Landai Precision Components, Chongqing Dihan Power Machinery (die-cast and machined housings), Chongqing Landai Automation Technology and Ma'anshan Landai Transmission Machinery in Anhui. The touch display business, run through Chongqing Taiguan Technology, Shenzhen Taiguan Technology, Huizhou Jianrou Technology and Chongqing Xuanyu Optoelectronics, supplies touchscreens, touch display modules and cover glass for automotive electronics, industrial control and consumer devices. According to CICC research coverage, 2025 group revenue was about RMB 3.85 billion, up about 9%, with power transmission at about RMB 2.01 billion and touch display at about RMB 1.76 billion; net profit attributable to shareholders was about RMB 185 million. A production base in Thailand is under construction to support overseas customers.
Landai has applied its gear-making capability to robot actuators. Its website lists robot integrated joints as a product line, including the PA43-10-25 and PA100-20-10 joint actuators, together with planetary reducer assemblies and individual planetary gear-train parts such as sun gears, ring gears, planet gears, planet carriers, output planet carriers and rotor brackets. The joint designations match the P100-20-10 integrated joint module of Quanzhibo, a joint-module company whose modules are used in humanoid robots from Leju Robot and Noetix Robotics; CICC reports that Landai holds an equity stake in Quanzhibo as part of expanding into complete joint assemblies. The same coverage says Landai reached mass production of robot joint modules and shipped about RMB 40 million of them in 2025, and that it has added Leju as a customer alongside an unnamed major customer.
The group's precision gear manufacturing, heat treatment and machining base in Chongqing and Ma'anshan therefore serves both automotive transmissions and humanoid robot joint supply chains. Robotics is still a small share of total revenue, and the Ma'anshan plant was still ramping up in early 2026, which analysts cited when lowering near-term profit estimates.
