PaleBlue Launches Version 2.2 of ROV Trainer Simulator with New Features
PaleBlue has unveiled version 2.2 of its ROV Trainer Simulator, introducing a host of new features. The update includes support for three additional ROV models: Blue Robotics BlueROV2, Deep Trekker Revolution, and Chasing M2, enhancing the simulator's capabilities. This release is significant as it adds full Launch and Recovery System (LARS) functionality, allowing operators to simulate the complete workflow of launching and recovering ROVs. The new above-water 3D environment enhances realism, making it a valuable tool for training in subsea operations. Additionally, the simulator now supports handheld Windows PCs, enabling users to practice ROV operations in a more portable format. The PaleBlue ROV Trainer Simulator is also IMCA Class A-ready, allowing educational institutions to pursue accreditation, further solidifying its role in professional training.
