AeroVironment, Inc. has secured a $4.8 million contract from the United States Coast Guard to supply Mission Specialist Defender remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). The contract will be fulfilled through AeroVironment's subsidiary, VideoRay, which specializes in underwater robotic systems.
