SoftBank Robotics Corp. has commenced sales of the next-generation serving robot 'Servi Q,' developed in collaboration with Bear Robotics, Inc., starting September 28, 2026, in Japan. The 'Servi Q' will be exclusively sold by SoftBank Robotics globally, leveraging its network for gradual international rollout, while Bear Robotics continues sales in the U.S. and South Korea.
The introduction of 'Servi Q' addresses several operational challenges faced by serving robots, such as navigating narrow aisles and carrying drinks stably. With a slim design of 35 cm in width and a minimum passage width of 45 cm, it can maneuver through crowded spaces and reverse in tight spots, enhancing its adaptability to various restaurant environments.
