Remy's modular, turn-key design replaces a standard makeline fridge without changing kitchen layout or footprint and integrates with mainstream ordering, POS, and back-of-house systems. The platform is managed through Cibotica OS, culinary management software that connects front- and back-of-house systems, generates prioritized order queues, provides real-time data-driven insights, and supports 24/7 monitoring and technical support. Remy receives orders from existing POS, online channels, or manual input and guides staff on which ingredients and quantities to prepare.
As of the company's pilot program, Remy operated in partner restaurant locations. In April 2026, Cibotica was acquired by Appetronix to accelerate automated multi-cuisine foodservice expansion. The company continues to develop ingredient dispensing and portioning technology for the food-service automation market.
