On September 23, at the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo, Hangzhou Xingwuzhong Robotics Co., Ltd. showcased a cleaning robot simulating operations in public restrooms, attracting interest from overseas buyers. The company's COO, Yu Jiping, reported over 500 intention orders received this year, primarily from international clients. This marks the third consecutive year for Xingwuzhong at the expo, with intentions exceeding 300 million yuan for 2025, and current orders totaling 500 million yuan.
The significance of these orders lies in the growing adoption of robots in niche markets like public restrooms, where semi-structured environments facilitate robot learning and adaptation. Xingwuzhong has over 100 robots operating in various public restrooms in Hangzhou, and as orders materialize, the company is entering a phase of mass production and capacity ramp-up.
In the garment industry, AiTu Technology has also made strides, signing a purchase order for 200 humanoid robots with Anhui Hengfeng. Their robots automate fabric handling and alignment, addressing significant challenges in the process. Additionally, data collection and core component production are ramping up, with companies like Jinglianwen expanding their data collection systems across real-world environments, while Xinuo Future showcases advanced dexterous hands for industrial applications.
Editor's Note
The integration of robotics into specialized sectors such as public sanitation and garment manufacturing reflects a broader trend of automation in traditionally labor-intensive industries. As companies like Hangzhou Xingwuzhong and AiTu Technology secure substantial orders, the competitive landscape is shifting, emphasizing the need for advanced robotics solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
