Honor Announces August Release for Robot Phone Featuring 4DoF Gimbal Technology

Honor has officially announced that its innovative Robot Phone is set to launch in August. This smartphone will feature a four-degree-of-freedom mechanical gimbal made from titanium alloy, which utilizes miniature motors and is reported to be 70% smaller than conventional solutions.

The Robot Phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and will incorporate Honor’s AgenticOS, a multimodal agent operating system. The unique design allows the camera module to operate independently from the phone body, enhancing its functionality and user experience.
