Figure has revealed its latest demonstration featuring two Figure 03 humanoids autonomously tidying a bedroom, showcasing a significant advancement in multi-agent collaboration. This 'Helix-02 Bedroom Tidy' moves beyond previous single-robot tasks, emphasizing the robots' ability to operate independently without a central overseer, utilizing their own cameras to interpret each other's movements.

The demonstration is powered by the Helix 02 architecture, which employs a Vision-Language-Action omni-model, allowing the robots to compute torque directly from visual input. This capability enables real-time reactions to shared goals, highlighting the complexity of navigating a domestic environment filled with chaos. As Figure scales production to one robot per hour, the focus is on generating interaction data for broader utility in homes.

Looking ahead, Figure's CEO Brett Adcock has suggested a potential leasing model for these robots, estimated at $400 to $600 monthly, to facilitate 24/7 home assistance. However, he remains cautious about their deployment, particularly in family settings, as the company continues to address edge-case failures in their technology.
