SANY Construction Industry is the construction-industrialization business of SANY Group, the Chinese machinery group whose listed arms include SANY Heavy Industry (SSE: 600031). SANY Group lists it among its domestic businesses with its own SPCS portal, and presents it as a hard-technology company for the intelligent-construction era whose mission is to industrialize building. Its offer combines a prefabricated structural system, factory equipment for precast components and the software that links design, production and site work. The core of the system is SPCS, an assembled concrete structural standard based on hollow-cavity wall columns and an 'equivalent heterogeneous' design that targets full prefabrication above and below ground. SANY states that SPCS applies to residential, office, research, commercial and underground works and to buildings above 100 m in seismic intensity 6 and 7 zones and above 90 m in intensity 8 zones, and it lists 54 case studies, such as SPCS composite columns in the basement of the Yungu Jiayuan project in Changsha in 2021. For component factories, the SPCE intelligent PC equipment line produces exterior and interior wall panels, composite floor slabs, partition panels and other slab components. It integrates a central control system with pallet circulation, pallet pretreatment, material distribution, curing and demolding systems, and adds a formwork-disassembly robot, a flexible intelligent rebar system, visual quality inspection, intelligent distribution and vibration, and high-precision flipping and mold closing. Production is driven by the PCTEAM collaboration platform, SPCI industrial software, the PCM component management system and the PMES production management system, with one code per component for lifecycle tracking and takt-time (JIT) production; SANY claims a 30 percent gain in overall efficiency and 40 percent less labour, with standard-line delivery quoted at 35 plus 40 days. The range also includes SACE intelligent AAC equipment for autoclaved aerated concrete panels and blocks, intelligent rebar processing equipment, and molds and fixtures, with 32 products listed in the construction-industrialization category; reference projects include an ALC line in Meishan and residential projects in Xi'an and Zhongzhou. In rebar automation, SANY Construction Industry led a project on intelligent rebar mesh welding for prefabricated components that passed acceptance in 2020. It delivered Hunan's first intelligent rebar mesh welding lines, including a 9 m wide mesh machine started from a central console, with dual-transformer welding and a dual-module straightening system, controlled by the SPCI-RMES system that links PC and ALC tasks for just-in-time rebar supply; the equipment has been applied on more than ten projects, and the project produced 35 patent applications, 17 of them granted.
