Company Overview

Pink Robotics is a German humanoid robot start-up based in Darmstadt, Hesse. It trades as a brand of Anyscrew GmbH, a limited company registered at the Darmstadt local court under HRB 107796, whose managing director is the engineer Christopher Helmke. According to coverage in Humanoids Daily in August 2026, the humanoid project grew out of automation hardware work previously carried out under Anyscrew. Helmke reviewed demand in construction, agriculture, defence and logistics before deciding that a general-purpose humanoid had the greatest commercial potential, and he presents the company as a response to the decline of German industrial engineering, positioning it against larger German players such as NEURA Robotics and Agile Robots.

The company's first robot is the HUMANOID P0, a prototype shown publicly in a video published on 24 August 2026. The official website lists the P0 at 1.75 m tall and 82 kg, with a 32-degree-of-freedom motion system and an 8 kg payload. Third-party humanoid databases add that 10 of the degrees of freedom are in the hands, that the robot uses swappable two-finger gripping claws, and that it walks at up to about 4 km/h; Origin of Bots also lists head-mounted depth cameras, joint encoders and an IMU, but these figures are not on the company's own page. The P0 was given human proportions so that it can work in existing facilities without changes to the building. Much of the structure is produced in-house using 3D printing and laser welding, which the founder says allows quick iteration on joint packaging and linkage lengths, and the website states that the prototype was designed and made in Germany.

The intended first application is logistics sorting work such as item picking, parcel handling and bin sorting in distribution centres, rather than heavy palletising or unstructured home environments. Demonstrations so far have been teleoperated, and the team has begun training vision-language-action models for autonomous manipulation. Humanoids Daily reports that a pilot in a distribution centre of a supermarket chain was being prepared and that the company was raising a seed round to grow its engineering team in Darmstadt; no investors, amount or closing had been announced at the time of writing. The company has not published a price or delivery date and invites enquiries from interested businesses through its website. Contact is via [email protected], and the registered address is Landwehrstrasse 55, 64293 Darmstadt.
