Perceptyne (Perceptyne Technologies Private Limited) is a Hyderabad, India, deep-tech robotics startup that builds AI-driven, dexterous robots for manual industrial tasks that are still done by human hands. Press coverage dates the company to 2021, names Jagga Raju Nadimpalli as a co-founder, and reports that it develops its stack in-house from actuators to AI software. It works with automotive and electronics manufacturers.
Its current flagship is PR-OMNI, a semi-humanoid robot integrating physical AI. Official specifications list dual 7-DOF arms, vision, force and tactile sensing, a combined payload of 10 kg, and mobility via a holonomic drive with a vertical gantry. The PR-PhI (Physical Intelligence) software layer provides a modular architecture with task-specific skill modules, marker-free visual servoing for tracking moving objects, multimodal perception combining vision, force and touch, and teleoperation for shared autonomy. The product range also includes PR-Duo and PR-Uno, with PR-sync announced as coming soon. Earlier coverage describes dual-arm PR-34D and single-arm PR-9D robots with dexterous end-effectors for manufacturing and assembly lines, and packaging applications. Application areas shown by the company include recycling, data centres, electronics assembly, laboratories, food production, machinery tending and warehousing.
In October 2024 Perceptyne raised a USD 3 million seed round co-led by Endiya Partners and Yali Capital with participation from Whiteboard Capital and angel investors. A March 2026 report described a further Rs 30 crore (about USD 3.6 million) raise including India Quotient and DLU Capital, alongside pre-seed support from T-Hub and the Startup India Seed Fund. Perceptyne was a finalist at the Humanoid Robotics Industry Awards 2025 in the Groundbreaking Technology category and was listed in Forbes India DGEM 2025 Select 200.
