Shenzhen MileBot Robotics Co., Ltd. is a Chinese medical rehabilitation robotics manufacturer founded in 2016 by a team of returning overseas researchers and robotics engineers, headquartered at the Shenzhen National Engineering Laboratory Building in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. The company designs lower-limb exoskeleton and rehabilitation robots for stroke patients and people with mobility impairments. Its flagship BEAR-H1 exoskeleton uses compliant actuators across six powered joints at the hips, knees, and ankles, plus auxiliary hip-rotation joints, to reproduce natural gait patterns. It fits patients between 150 and 190 cm tall weighing up to 85 kg and includes a touchscreen interface for therapists to monitor motion data during sessions, with algorithms estimating a patient's walking speed and movement intent. The broader product line includes the BEAR Series for adult in-clinic rehabilitation, the RELAX Series for pediatric patients, the MAX Series for home and community walking assistance, and the 3000-STEP device for high-frequency gait training.
MileBot holds a portfolio of Chinese invention and utility-model patents alongside international PCT filings and has supplied its rehabilitation systems to hospitals and research institutions in China.
