Wuxi auto-parts maker (EGR systems, motor cores) building a robot business via subsidiary Weihan's harmonic reducers and joint actuators.
Wuxi Longsheng Technology Co., Ltd. is an automotive components manufacturer founded in 2004 and headquartered at No. 99 Zhujiang Road in the Xinwu District of Wuxi, Jiangsu. It listed on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on 25 July 2017 under the code 300680 and reports about 865 full-time employees. The company has three main segments. The first is engine exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems, including electric EGR valves, EGR coolers, throttles, exhaust back-pressure and brake valves and related sensors. The second is new-energy components, chiefly drive-motor stator and rotor cores for electric vehicles. The third is precision components for fuel, exhaust and engine systems. Its customers are in commercial, passenger and new-energy vehicles, non-road machinery and consumer electronics. Through Weiyan Zhongjia, acquired in 2018, it also makes precision parts for aerospace and drones, and it has supplied satellite programmes since 2015.
Since 2024 Longsheng has treated robotics as its third growth curve. In 2024 it set up Longsheng Weirui with the Wuxi Industrial Innovation Research Institute to work on humanoid robots, core components and low-altitude aircraft. In May 2025 it brought Wuxi Weihan Intelligent Technology into its group of controlled subsidiaries. Weihan specialises in precision harmonic reducers and integrated joint actuators. Press coverage of company disclosures says Weihan has worked through tooth-profile design, materials and processing equipment, and has built a standard matrix of more than 100 harmonic reducer models. In the first half of 2025 it developed a lightweight reducer said to be 30 to 40 percent lighter than conventional designs. The company expected harmonic reducer capacity of about 70,000 units in the first quarter of 2026. Weihan has a strategic cooperation agreement with Italian firm IEMA covering reducer R&D and lightweight joints, and in October 2025 Longsheng signed a cooperation intent with Nidec on expanding harmonic reducer capacity for humanoid robots.
Longsheng is also developing complete robots and other components. Its Lansen robot, now in a second generation that uses a large model for decision-making, can grasp randomly placed objects and coordinate two arms. It is being piloted for quality inspection of motor cores at the wholly owned subsidiary Longsheng New Energy. Dexterous hands have gone through several R&D iterations, with military, industrial and consumer grades planned. In 2025 the company took a 9.23 percent stake in Diedong Technology, which makes tactile sensors and electronic skin for dexterous hands. In December 2025 it signed a planned RMB 3.5 billion embodied-intelligence robot innovation centre in Binhu, Wuxi, built around an industrial humanoid robot. None of these disclosures name robot customers, and robotics revenue is not reported separately.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
Harmonic reducer matrix of 100+ models from subsidiary Weihan, including a lightweight version 30-40% lighter than conventional reducers, for humanoid and robot joints.
Integrated robot joint modules combining harmonic reducer and drive, developed by subsidiary Weihan for humanoid robots.
Dual-arm robot with large-model decision-making, piloted for heavy-load grasping and defect inspection of EV motor cores at Longsheng New Energy.
Robot dexterous hand under iterative development, with military, industrial and consumer grades planned; tactile skin work with investee Diedong Technology.
