Company Overview

Jaunt Air Mobility is a Dallas, Texas aerospace company that designs and manufactures uncrewed vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft for both commercial and defense use. It is a brand of AIRO Group Holdings, Inc. and operates a Canadian arm, Jaunt Air Mobility Canada, in Montreal. The company's aircraft are built around its patented Slowed Rotor Compound (SRC) technology, which combines a slowed main rotor for efficient vertical lift with a high aspect-ratio fixed wing to reduce drag in cruise.

Aircraft can be flown autonomously or remote-piloted through a fly-by-wire control system and use a hybrid-electric powertrain, advanced vision systems, and detect-and-avoid AI. Two platforms are publicly detailed. The JX250 is a tactical, long-endurance aircraft with a cruise speed of about 110 mph (180 km/h), a 50 lb (23 kg) payload, more than 1,000 miles (1,600 km) of range, and 14 to 18 hours of endurance at loiter speeds, with low acoustic signatures of roughly 50 dB in cruise and 60 dB at takeoff and landing.

The JC250 is a heavy-lift cargo aircraft carrying 250 to 325 lb (115 to 150 kg) over 200-plus miles (320-plus km) at the same cruise speed and noise levels. Jaunt targets heavy-lift logistics, tactical ISR, and regional air mobility in demanding and contested environments. The company partners with advanced air mobility operators, airlines, business aviation operators, and leasing companies, and emphasizes clean manufacturing, all-electric eco-mobility, and a 99% recyclable airframe.
