Eddyfi Technologies is a Québec City, Canada-based global leader in advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection technologies, founded in 2009 to push the limits of eddy current array (ECA) technology. Headquartered at 3425 Pierre-Ardouin, Québec, QC G1P 0B3, the company employs more than 1,000 people across 19 offices worldwide and serves customers in over 110 countries. Eddyfi has grown through strategic acquisitions to form a diversified multi-brand portfolio organized into five product lines: ET & UT Solutions (eddy current and ultrasonic testing instruments, probes, and software); Automated Vision Systems (Pavemetrics and Railmetrics for 3D laser-based road and rail inspection); Nuclear Steam Generators (Zetec phased array and eddy current systems for nuclear inspection); Remote Monitoring Solutions (Huggenberger, Senceive, Sensor Networks, and Sisgeo geotechnical and structural monitoring); and Robotics Solutions (inspection crawlers and remotely operated vehicles, including systems originally from Inuktun, founded 1989).
Technologies offered include eddy current array (ECA), phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT), alternating current field measurement (ACFM®), long-range ultrasonic testing (LRUT)/guided wave, magnetic flux leakage (MFL), pulsed eddy current (PEC), near-field testing (NFT), internal rotary inspection system (IRIS), tangential eddy current array (TECA™), total focusing method (TFM), and remote visual inspection (RVI). Key industries served include oil and gas, power generation, aerospace, heavy industry and mining, maritime, rail and automotive, nuclear, and defense. In 2024, ESAB Corporation completed its acquisition of Eddyfi Technologies.
