Ag Leader
Ag Leader is a privately owned precision-agriculture maker of displays, GPS autosteer and farm-data software, compatible across equipment brands.
Ag Leader Technology is a privately held precision-agriculture technology company headquartered in Ames, Iowa, founded in 1992 by Al Myers, an early pioneer of yield monitoring. The company develops, manufactures, and supports a complete line of brand-agnostic precision farming hardware and software that works across mixed equipment fleets.
Its core products include the InCommand display family, including the InCommand Go with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, Android-based interface, built-in Wi-Fi, and optional cellular connectivity for guidance, mapping, planting, application, and harvest operations. The SteerCommand Z2 automated steering system provides sub-inch, pass-to-pass autosteer accuracy with nine-axis terrain compensation, complemented by the SteadySteer assisted-steering option. DisplayCast enables real-time sharing of boundaries, guidance lines, and coverage maps across an operation's fleet, while the AgFiniti cloud platform supports wireless data transfer and centralized management, and SMS desktop software provides in-depth farm data analysis. Additional product lines cover GPS/GNSS receivers, planter control and hydraulic down-force, seed and liquid/granular rate control, water management, and yield monitoring.
The company reports a large precision-farming installed base and is described as the largest privately owned supplier of precision farming technology, with international offices in the Netherlands, Australia, and Brazil and an extensive dealer network. Ag Leader serves row-crop and specialty growers and equipment dealers, focusing on improving productivity, input efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across planting, guidance, application, and harvest.
