Gioseppo Enhances Logistics with New Version of Mecalux Easy WMS
Gioseppo has upgraded its logistics operations by implementing the latest version of Mecalux’s Easy WMS warehouse management system. This upgrade is part of Gioseppo's strategy to support its international expansion and diversify sales channels, ensuring efficient synchronization of picking tasks across its warehouses. José Miguel Navarro, Vice President and Co-Founder, emphasized the importance of providing a consistent shopping experience for customers across all channels. The implementation of Easy WMS allows Gioseppo to centralize order processing, enhancing service speed and consistency for its customers. The company operates two facilities in Elche, Spain, with a combined capacity of over 480,000 boxes and 5,844 pallets, managing a total of 1.6 million shoe units. This modernization aligns with the growing demands of omnichannel logistics and supports the company’s expansion efforts without disrupting ongoing warehouse operations. As Gioseppo continues to evolve from a family-run business to a leading brand in the footwear sector, it has expanded its distribution network to include company-owned stores and online sales channels. The focus on digital transformation and the launch of its online store since 2023 positions Gioseppo to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing retail landscape.
