Beijing Vizum Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (brand: Vizum; Chinese: Weijing Intelligent) is a Chinese AI machine vision company headquartered in Haidian District, Beijing, founded in 2016 by Dr. Dong Xiaojian, former Chief Scientist of Spreadtrum Communications. The company specializes in stereoscopic intelligent vision systems and intelligent humanoid robots, with a core team drawn from domestic and international semiconductor firms.

Vizum's flagship product line centers on the ViEye series of industrial-grade 3D line-laser cameras. The ViEye uses patented line-laser stereo vision technology and integrates static and dynamic imaging in a compact, lightweight form factor engineered for harsh industrial conditions, including resistance to arc light, direct sunlight up to 480,000 lux ambient, strong reflections, and curved or reflective surfaces. Technical specifications include a single-line point cloud count of up to 4,096 points, a maximum line scan rate of 6,000 lines per second, and micron-level spatial positioning accuracy.

The ViEye 2.0 features an all-in-one six-in-one design integrating static surface scanning, dynamic line scanning, seam tracking, high-precision RGB imaging, dynamic monitoring, and full-process observation. The ViEye Pro adds a melt pool inspection module for real-time micro-state monitoring during the welding process. On the software side, Vizum offers the Tiger Platform (also called MH Platform for welding), upgraded to version 2.0 in 2025 with capabilities including seam recognition and selection, path editing and optimization, point cloud fusion, and full-process profile welding management. The platform is compatible with mainstream industrial robotic arms.

The 3D Vision Intelligent Grasping Application Platform provides a modular architecture for image perception, 3D modeling, positioning and guidance, pose estimation, and hand-eye calibration, enabling sub-millimeter accuracy grasping and stacking workflows for manufacturing automation.

Industry applications include intelligent robotic welding in steel and metallurgy, automated grasping and stacking in smart factories, coal flow volume measurement in coal-handling belts, wire rod labeling in steel production, and agricultural robotic harvesting. Vizum also showcased Xiaowei Gen-2, an intelligent humanoid harvesting robot capable of autonomous walking, self-learning, and cognitive task execution, at the 2024 Shanghai Machine Vision Expo.
