TACTUN's platform spans from embedded hardware to cloud-based software, addressing the full control stack lifecycle. At the hardware level, TACTUN designs a custom-built embedded controller that features an FPGA for deterministic real-time control at closed-loop rates up to 100 kHz, with higher rates available in specialized configurations, plus an onboard GPU for AI model inference including object detection and sensor data processing tasks. The controller handles data acquisition, closed-loop feedback control, motion control, and deterministic logic execution directly on the device, ensuring low-latency real-time performance required for precision machinery.
Built on top of the hardware, TACTUN's no-code software platform allows machinery manufacturers to define their I/O configuration, build custom control applications, generate machine-specific logic, and deploy updates remotely through a cloud-based environment and application builder interface. This approach reduces development cycles by up to 5x compared to custom control stack development, enabling OEMs to go from concept to deployed product in days rather than months. The platform supports AI model deployment to the controller, enabling edge AI inference for autonomous decision-making in the field.
TACTUN's target markets include robotics, agriculture equipment, construction machinery, supply chain automation, and materials testing systems. The company received its first US patent for its core hardware controller technology and has demonstrated its platform at industry events including the Advanced Engineering Show. TACTUN has received investment from SmartGate VC and is building toward wider commercialization with machinery OEM partners across multiple industrial verticals.
