SYMACON System + Service GmbH
Magdeburg, Germany automation builder founded 2018; runs Bosch Rexroth Certified Excellence assembly systems and Kassow Robots cobot integration with 80 staff.
SYMACON System + Service GmbH is a German automation engineering company headquartered at Alt Salbke 6-10 in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt. The company was formed in October 2018 as a spin-off of departments from the Symacon Group under founder and managing director Bernd Petermann, and it relocated to its current Magdeburg site in 2019.
SYMACON builds manual-to-fully-automated assembly and production systems, including the TS2 and TS7 transfer systems used in battery-pack assembly, aluminum-profile and modular equipment (MGE) structures, assembly workstations, and retrofit work on existing machinery; it also offers water-jet cutting and engineering services. The company became one of the first Certified Excellence Partners for Bosch Rexroth Factory Automation in 2019 and later added Certified Excellence Service Partner status. In 2022 and 2023 it began integrating collaborative robots from Kassow Robots with end-of-arm tooling from OnRobot for flexible assembly cells.
SYMACON opened an automation-engineering presence in Berlin in 2020, added electrical-engineering capability in 2021 and 2022, and expanded its Magdeburg production floor from roughly 4,500 square meters in 2023 to about 8,500 square meters by 2026. It now employs around 80 engineers, skilled workers and trainees and runs an apprenticeship program started in 2024.
Primary type & automation activities this supplier delivers:
Custom Assembly & Automation Cells
