Agibot and global smart-device ODM leader Longcheer Technology have announced a deep strategic partnership to scale embodied-intelligence robots on consumer-electronics lines. Longcheer placed a multi-hundred-million RMB framework order for Agibot Sprite G2 robot frames, with a plan to deploy nearly 1,000 units—one of China’s largest industrial embodied-robot deals to date. The collaboration targets rapid changeovers, flexible reuse, and replicable deployment across complex manufacturing.

From pilot to playbook: embodied AI at ODM scale

The first wave of Sprite G2 robots will be deployed on tablet assembly lines, a proving ground for fine-pitch assembly and multimodal coordination. Sprite G2 integrates flexible grasping, multi-station collaboration, and production-data interlock, enabling real-time routing, smarter task allocation, and fast recipe updates. In a market where SKUs shift monthly, the system’s “flexible reuse + rapid changeover + scale replication” directly addresses two chronic bottlenecks: rigid lines and demand volatility.

Longcheer—an ODM partner to leading global brands—frames the move as core to its “AI + Manufacturing” strategy. Executives say Sprite G2 will push automation rates higher while lowering changeover costs, sharpening line competitiveness without over-customizing hardware. Full-cycle delivery: from end-effector to algorithm iteration

For Agibot, the order is a milestone in scaled commercialization within industrial manufacturing. Beyond hardware, Agibto will deliver full-cycle services: station-layout studies, custom end-effectors, installation and line commissioning, operator training, and continuous algorithm iteration. This “body + AI” stack aims to standardize interfaces while fine-tuning to product-specific tolerances—turning one factory rollout into a repeatable deployment playbook for other sites and product families.

Why it matters

Embodied-intelligence robots have long promised human-like dexterity with industrial reliability. This partnership adds what the sector most needs: clear technical standards, repeatable implementation paths, and evidence of unit-economics at scale. With nearly 1,000 units planned, the project could reset the baseline for applying embodied robotics across consumer electronics, with spillover into automotive electronics and other precision domains.

Leveraging Agibot’s strengths will deepen AI-hardware integration, accelerate the company’s “1+2+X” portfolio, and expand solution breadth for customers.

Longcheer Chairman Du Junhong:

This is a starting point for continuous iteration of the “Body + AI” stack—delivering replicable industrial embodied-intelligence solutions.

Agibot Chairman & CEO Deng Taihua:

Looking ahead, Longcheer plans to extend Agibot robots to more lines and categories, while expanding collaboration on robot components and manufacturing services. Together, the companies aim to offer global consumer-electronics customers end-to-end embodied-robot solutions spanning R&D, manufacturing, and delivery.
